Meet AGVO

Agvo Foundation is a not-for-profit Section 8 company, engaged in building empowered, inclusive, and sustainable communities in India. We carry out welfare activities for the benefit of vulnerable communities in the areas of education, livelihood, equality, healthcare, environment, clean energy and infrastructure, to contribute to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) 2030.

Agvo Foundation will steer the CSR activities for the Agvo Group of Companies, including Sorigin and Onict, through collaborations and partnerships. By leveraging their business strengths of renewable energy, financial services, logistics, and technology, we aim to build capacity and find sustainable innovative solutions to social problems.

The ideology behind the idea

At Agvo Foundation, we believe in a philosophy to Engage-Enlighten-Elevate the communities we work with. Keeping a participative approach, we ensure to involve all stakeholders in a project, including the beneficiaries, other NGOs and community-based organizations, Government offices, and individuals. We aim to utilize the skills of all and bring about maximum impact with optimum resources.

We ‘Engage’ with our beneficiaries to understand their needs. We ‘Enlighten’ them about their rights, available schemes and create awareness through workshops and trainings. The combined recipe leads to an ‘Elevated’ standard of living and better quality of life for the communities.

In keeping with our philosophy, we collaborate, leverage, and innovate for the sustainable development of communities. Any initiative undertaken by Agvo Foundation keeps sustainability at its core, ensuring that projects are self-driven in the long run.

We act as a bridge between existing schemes and services provided by the Government, and the beneficiaries, who are unable to avail of them due to a lack of awareness, education, and resources. We promote inclusivity at all levels and work with the most vulnerable and neglected strata of society, to uplift them and create an accessible and equal platform for all.
